I believed

I believed

All my life

I believed,

That I was right.

Right in making decisions,

And right in knowing people.

I believed,

That all are good.

Forgiving and compromising,

Is the way.

But, I was proved wrong.

When I saw,

My friend from years

Doing wrong with me

Still, I was convinced,

That making things workout

Was the way.

But who was I fooling

Once broken,

Forever broken.

Now, for all my life

I would like to believe,

We have to let go people.

To start afresh,

To live good

And for our own good.
