Things to do this summer vacation

May has started and summer vacations are near. All we do the whole day during vacations is just laze around and relax. But we can also relax in a refreshing and productive way.
    Here are some ideas which you can try.

1. Get an internship

Get an internship for yourself. You can try for your career related internships or other internships and jobs which you want to try. It can even be working at a cafe, giving tutions to kids, holding summer camps, giving dance or art classes etc. Do whatever you want to do. Do it but don't sit idle these summers. Trust me, it will definitely be an experience to cherish.

2. Shopping

I know this sounds so old. But I am not talking about regular shopping but a street shopping spree. You can go to Sarojini Nagar market Janpath market or any other street market in your city.

3. Visit your city

What I mean to say is that you have been living in your city for years. But now visit and explore your city like a tourist. It will definitely be very interesting and new experience.

4. Learn something new

Try some new recipes or learn any art form like kathak dance, Madhubani painting, Varli art, Kalamkari etc. You can even learn swimming or other sports. Try learning some music. Learning something new may help you get a new hobby for yourself.

5. Pamper yourself

Get a new haircut, paint your nails, start a new exercise routine, go for a walk in the park or put on a face pack and relax. Pamper yourself both physically and mentally. Try doing some meditation.

6. Play board games

This can never get boring. We have been playing them since we were kids. So why not take out those old board games from cupboards and start playing them.

Like Ludo, Carrom, Chess, Scrabble etc.

7. Coloring books

Get yourself some coloring books. There are also books available for adults in the market. Unwind yourself by doing coloring work.

8. Travel

Travel to any other city and explore it. Visit its street markets, Roadside stalls and dhabas. And roam around the city using public transport.

9. Freelancing

Register yourself on freelancing sites and try some freelancing work. Or you can start a blog or youtube channel.
