Most of us move out of our homes to pursue our dreams and careers in other cities. But we miss the homely warmth of our home. So, why not decorate the hostels, rooms or apartments you live in to give them more of a homely feeling. So, for that here are some tips which I believe may work for you:-

KEEP IT CLEAN

Keeping your place clean always gives you positive vibes. You feel more energized when you have a clean living place. My mom says a dirty room makes a person feel lazy. So, invest in a broom and a mop and clean your place.

ORGANISE

Arrange your stuff properly and by yourself. This way you will remember where you r things are kept. And you become more organised.

BEDDING

Change your bedsheets frequently and arrange your bed neatly. You may also put cushions or soft toys on bed. It makes it more cozier and warm. You can also make a bedding on the floor.

For that put a mattress on the floor along a wall. Cover it with a bedsheet and also put pillows and two or three cushions. It will be a nice place for you to read, work or do a lot of stuff sitting on the floor. This setting can be helpful as bed makes a person feel lazy.

If you live in an apartment, then you should maintain a clean kitchen. A clean kitchen may motivate you to cook in it. And also don't forget to stuff your kitchen with groceries time to time.

HOME DECOR

Decorate your place with meaningful items like dreamcatchers and torans. You can even make some craft items to decorate. Handmade decoration items always give your home a more homely look. You can even use small decorative items you find in a local street market. They are economical and sometimes a very good catch as well. You can even try decorating with fairy lights, diwali lights or LEDs. Lights lift a place very beautifully. And one more tip, Try using vibrant colours. They are more lively and so do those colors make you feel.
